Core began as an idea to decentralize and mobilize meetings. The unit was designed to cater to small businesses or start-up who may not want to invest in a complete boardroom. Our initial plan was to create folding chairs with a central mobile hub as storage. However due to the project deadline, decided to shift focus to create a stool with a mobile storage pod.

During the model making process we tested the original stool design, however it was lacking support for the legs. Due to this we added an aluminum ring to hold the legs from splaying. The table was also revised to add smart features such as an Amazon Alexa and wireless charger. An internal frame was also added to the inside of the table along with a matching aluminum handle.
