With the tooling for our previous peelers nearing the end of its life, we took the opportunity to reimagine two Cuisipro products. Improving performance, comfort, and durability while maintaining a familiar feel trusted by our users.
Previous Cuisipro Y & Swivel Peelers
With so many peeler styles available, user preference often comes down to familiarity and comfort. We chose to retain both the Y and Swivel styles for their proven versatility. Our research revealed that the most common pain points among users were blade sharpness, comfort, and overall ease of use.
Multiple handle forms and sizes were explored through 3D-printed prototypes, while different blade styles were tested on a variety of foods including potatoes, carrots, squash, and mangoes. After several iterations, the final design adopted the same handle language introduced with our Folding Graters creating a more cohesive, modern identity across the Cuisipro product line.

Keeping the same premium materials the previous Cuisipro peelers were known for, we adjusted the form to allow more secure and comfortable grip while improving the weight balance.
